Privacy Policy

This policy covers BeyondMC Media ("the Tool"), the private, staff-only tool that runs the BeyondMC media creator program. It explains what we collect about creators in the program, why, and how to have it removed. It does not cover the store, whose payments are handled by Tebex.

1. What we collect

• Your Minecraft account: username and UUID, so the Media rank goes to the right player.
• The social accounts staff add for you: your YouTube channel and TikTok username or link.
• From YouTube (public data, via the YouTube API Services): channel name, handle and subscriber count, and for your videos and streams their title, description, link, thumbnail, length, upload date, view, like and comment counts, and live viewer counts while you stream.
• From TikTok, only if you connect your account through TikTok Login Kit and approve it: your open ID, display name, avatar, profile link, follower, following, like and video counts (user.info.basic, user.info.profile, user.info.stats), and your public videos with their title, description, cover image, link, length, post date and view, like, comment and share counts (video.list), plus the access token TikTok issues for this.

We do not collect your TikTok or Google password, private messages, drafts, private videos, contacts or payment details.

2. Why we use it

• To check whether your content meets the Media rank requirements, and to grant and renew the rank.
• To show BeyondMC staff an overview of your uploads and how they perform.

We never sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it outside the BeyondMC staff team, except where the law requires it.

3. Storage and access

The data is kept on servers operated by BeyondMC and is only visible to staff with access to the media section of our staff panel. TikTok access tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to refresh your statistics.

4. How long we keep it

• For as long as you are in the media program.
• When you disconnect TikTok (in TikTok under Settings and privacy, Security, Manage app permissions) or ask us to remove you, we delete your tokens straight away and the rest of your TikTok and YouTube data within 30 days.
• A record that you held the Media rank, and when, may be kept as part of normal server records.

5. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent by disconnecting your account. To do so, open a ticket in our Discord server. Google's handling of YouTube data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and you can revoke access through Google security settings. TikTok's is in the TikTok Privacy Policy.

6. Children

The program is only for creators old enough to hold a TikTok or YouTube account (13 or older). We do not knowingly collect data from younger children; if you believe we have, open a ticket in our Discord server and we will delete it.
